The best design is ubiquitous yet invisible

Hi, I’m Mitch — a Senior Digital Designer specializing in high-fidelity digital products and design systems.

My journey into design began in the 4th grade, where I’d spend hours drawing complex airplane designs and comics with a friend after finishing our schoolwork. By high school, I was already merging craft with technology, redesigning my school’s mascot logo to scan into Microsoft Paint and building MySpace pages for my band. Today, that same energy is directed at making complex digital ecosystems feel invisible and intuitive for the end user.

When I sit on the train and I notice that half of the people there are on their mobile devices, I see a world running on digital frameworks that are largely invisible to those using them. Someone had to build that logic. Someone had to ensure it performs perfectly at every touchpoint. My mission is to contribute to the design of the modern world through the structured, scalable systems that power our daily lives, providing clarity and cohesion without friction.

My approach blends a BFA-rooted appreciation for visual craft with the technical rigor needed for complex products. I’ve refined this perspective through years of navigating high-stakes environments for brands across the automotive and financial sectors, including Toyota, Lexus, Subaru, Mercedes-Benz, and Porsche, as well as JPMorgan Chase and Tender Retail. Whether I am building the "engines" of a digital product through Atomic Methodology and Semantic Tokens, or ensuring structural cohesion across every screen via interactive prototyping, I focus on reducing design debt and increasing velocity.

Beyond the screen, I’m a musician, a South Shore resident, and a caretaker to an intelligent rough collie and a spunky little parrot. They keep my perspective grounded and I keep their schedules running on time.

If you are looking for a partner to help build the framework of the modern world, I’m always ready to talk about how we can build it together.
